MollyQ-30™ for mice
The
MollyQ-30 FOV is 30mm in diameter and has a
bore size large enough to accommodate a mouse plus
holder. Resolution is extremely high – 500
microns in all directions, corresponding to a
volumetric resolution of 125 nano-liters. This is 7
times better than the best PET scanners designed for
mice. Click

MollyQ-50™ for mice, rats and small
primates
The
MollyQ-50 has a FOV of 50 mm in diameter and a
resolution of 800 microns in all directions providing
a volumetric resolution of 500 nanoliters. Bore size
will accommodate larger rodents and even small
primates. Click

Overview
The
MollyQ-30 and MollyQ-50 are desktop
scanners with the same size footprint. The difference
is in the bore size and the diameter of the scanned
field-of-view (FOV). The MollyQ-50 is for
general purpose small animal imaging whereas the
MollyQ-30 is optimized for mice and will not
accommodate larger animals. Both the 30 and 50 are
available in two choices of detectors, the X
and G. The X-detectors are less
expensive but are limited to imaging I-125 tagged
compounds while the G-detectors can image all
the commonly used isotope tags.
Software
All
software needed for data acquisition, reconstruction,
image viewing and file export is included. The
reconstruction incorporates a proprietary fast,
adaptive algorithm, unique to our scanning
technology. Exported files are compatible with
industry standard formats such as Dicom and
Analyze.
